Standard Deviation Formula

Standard Deviation FormulaThe standard deviation formula is a very useful tool for using in your chemistry experiments. It is a good way to take a quick look at your results of a series of experiments and determine if they are consistent or not. It is often used when analyzing the results of many different measurements made on a number of samples. The Standard Deviation formula can be used to determine how much of the sample varies from the average. It is determined by dividing the total sample count by the standard deviation. To do this, you use the formula as follows:Each sample has a value of one, so the standard deviation must be squared (or divided by two). If your samples have even numbers, the standard deviation for each will be zero. If your samples have odd numbers, then you will need to add an extra zero and multiply the result by the sample count. In this case, you will need to use an additional zero to represent the one above. You then divide this number by the sample count to get the Standard Deviation number for each sample. Keep in mind that there are a few variables involved with measuring the standard deviation. In this case, it would be a good idea to use the formula in a somewhat creative way.For example, if you have two samples, A and B, then you could put B's standard deviation to be the sum of the squares of the average values of A's. You could then divide the sum of squares by the number of samples in order to determine the standard deviation. Remember that the results are only as accurate as you want them to be, so you will need to change your calculations accordingly.Using the Standard Deviation formula is a great way to determine the consistency of the results of your experiments. Remember that it is not easy to predict how many different people will try to replicate your experiment, but having this information will make the differences in results less significant. When working with two samples, you should divide the sample count by the s tandard deviation to determine the Average value for each sample. In this case, you could write this number down. This method may take a bit of practice to get the hang of, but once you have it down, it will become easier to understand and adjust for differences in different samples.

Learning the Notes on a Fretboard

Learning the Notes on a Fretboard Finding the Notes on a Fretboard: Guitar for Beginners ChaptersWhy Should You Learn the Notes on the Fretboard? How to Learn Your Way Around the FretboardLearning the First Three Strings of the GuitarGetting to Know the Neck of Your Guitar“Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.” - PlatoLearning how to play the guitar means that you’ll have to learn which notes each of the 20 to 24 frets on the fretboard correspond to.It’s not easy learning how to play the guitar as you need to coordinate both hands, learn chords (major and minor chords, barre chords, etc.), scales (pentatonic, triads, etc.), and music theory.  At an intermediate level, you’ll have to learn how to improvise.Half of the guitarists in the US and the UK are women.  It just goes to show that music knows no gender.Would you like to learn the notes on a guitar fretboard? Here’s how! They just need to listen to a song and innately understand what’s going on musically. Learning the notes on the guitar's neck will help you to improve your playing. (Source: freestocks-photos)Some guitarists learn how to play the guitar from a very young age without having to learn music theory.  So it’s not necessary to know the notes on the guitar to learn how to play it.  However, every musician knows how the fretboard is laid out. That said, not everyone will be one of these gifted guitarists who can become a virtuoso with almost no formal training.  Knowing your way around the fretboard will help you to play chords without needing a chord dictionary. With a right-handed guitar, you’ll use your left hand to play the notes. You should know which notes make up the chords and where they appear on a fretboard.Learn the notes of the open strings and the notes of the subsequent 20 to 24 frets.  At the start, learning to play the guitar can be tricky because the notes on the fretboard aren’t arranged in a clear way like the keys on a piano. A guitar neck includes fre ts and strings. This means that you need to understand where all the notes are on the fretboard. To get there, there are a few techniques to help you.Learn about the different types of guitar. How to Learn Your Way Around the FretboardUnderstanding your fretboard is all about understanding the intervals between musical notes. Learn the notes by the head of the guitar first. (Source: Katrina_S)The first stage consists of learning the notes of the open strings in standard tuning: E, A, D, G, B, E.  The lowest and highest strings in standard tuning are both tuned to E.In your first guitar lessons, you’ll learn that you can divide the guitar neck into two main parts. The low strings: The 6th, 5th, 4th, and 3rd strings. The high strings: The 2nd and 1st strings. All strings are 5 semitones apart except for between the G and B string which are four. This will help you when learning the notes on the fretboard.Another way to understand the neck is to understand that any note can be played on a lower string if you move up five frets or on a higher string if you move five frets down.  Moving between G and B strings is different as you’ll have to move up or down four frets. If you play the third fret on the high E string, you’ll be playing a “G”. If you move up five frets and move up to the B string, you’ll play the same note.If you play the third fret on the B string, you’ll play a “D”. By going up four frets and moving up to the G string, you can play the same “D”.Quick quiz!If you play the 5th fret on the D string, how can you play it on the A string?By playing the 10th fret!Make sure you keep your guitar clean.Learning the First Three Strings of the GuitarYou’ll quickly learn the open note on each string. Learning the lowest notes first will help you form the roots of barre chords. (Source: ThorstenF)You need to understand that the interval between each fret is a semitone. Here’s the rule for the first E string: There are no semitones between E and F and B and C.  All the other notes have a semitone between them.  This is why there’s only a fret between B and C and E and F. There are two frets between every other note. The first fret is, therefore, an F. Next, let’s find the interval between each fret. What does the third fret on the E string play?G.And on the fifth fret? If you count between 3 and 5, there are two frets, two semitones. This means you’ll end up with an A.Since an octave spans twelve semitones, the note of each open string repeats on the 12th fret.  The 12th fret on every string is an octave higher than the string when played open. Most guitar necks have inlays in the shape of dots or trapeziums (or something fancier) on the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 12th, 15th, 17th, 1 9th, and 21st frets.  Since we know that the 5th fret is A, then the 7th fret is B. This makes the 8th fret C, the 10th fret D, and the 12th fret E.You can do the same for the A and D strings.Find out how to properly hold a guitar.Getting to Know the Neck of Your GuitarTo play a chord progression or find a particular harmony, you might want to learn a scale. Knowing which note is on each fret will improve your playing. (Source: lobpreis)If you know the notes on the 5th and 6th strings, you should be able to play any major or minor chord.Let’s take C the major scale: C D E F G A B C.Let’s go to the following positions:E string: E, F (1st fret), G (3rd fret).B string: B, C (1st fret), D (3rd fret).G string: G, A (2nd fret).D string: D, E (2nd fret), F (3rd fret).A string: A, B (2nd fret), C (3rd fret).E string: E, F (1st fret), G (3rd fret). To make a C major chord, you need to remember that the C is the tonic.  Next, you need the third, the E. The fifth is G. The seventh is B.  Thanks to the fact that each fret is a semitone, you can discern that the fret after an F is an F#.The fret below a B will be a Bb. However, this is also the A#.You should learn which notes the first three frets on each string are. You’ll find the following notes on the first three threads on each string:High E string: E, F, F#, G.B string: B, C, C#, D.G strin g: G, G#, A, A#.D string: D, D#, E, F.A string: A, A#, B, C.Low E string: E, F, F#, G.You’ve just learnt the chromatic scale.  You can find scale diagrams and tablature online to help you.Work your way around the major and minor scales from C until you get back to C.  This will help you work on your finger placement and you should then be able to transpose them anywhere on the fretboard. To conclude, don’t waste your time learning the notes all over the fretboard as you can transpose them from the ones you already know.If you'd like to learn more about how to play the guitar, there are plenty of useful resources online. You can find tablature sites to show you how to play certain songs as well as video tutorials on sites like YouTube. However, if you prefer to be taught how to play, you should consider getting in touch with one of the many talented and experienced guitar tutors on Superprof. There are three types of guitar tutorial available: face-to-face, online, and group. Each of these come with their pros and cons and it's really up to you to choose which one works best with your learning style and your budget.Generally speaking, face-to-face tutorials are the most effective as they're just between you and your tutor. Your tutor can focus all their time and energy on you during the tutorial and also plan the tutorials with you in mind. However, this bespoke service comes at a cost and while guitar tutors don't tend to charge a fortune, face-to-face tutorials are usually the most costly type of tutorial available.Online tutorials are similar to face-to-face tutorials in the respect that they're just between the tutor and the student but their main difference is that the tutor won't be there with you in the room. Instead, they'll be teaching you remotely via webcam and video conferencing software. While these types of tutorials tend to be cheaper than face-to-face tutorials, they do have the disadvantage of not being as effective for hands-on subjects.Fina lly, there are group tutorials. With several students in a single tutorial, you won't get as much one-on-one time with your tutor and there's no guarantee that the tutorials will be tailored to you; there are other students that need to be taught, after all. With all the students footing the bill, these tutorials tend to work out the cheapest per student per hour.

Making Learning Easier

Making Learning Easier Making Learning Easier 5 Tips to Give Your Student an Advantage There is no magic bullet to ensure that your child will be an excellent student who never experiences problems or challenges. However, there are a few things you can do to help your child stay focused and work more efficiently, thereby setting him or her up for success during homework time and in the classroom: Establish routines and rules. Clear procedures create a home environment conducive to maximum learning, eliminating wasted time and encouraging children to work more efficiently. On the other hand, lack of structure can result in a child feeling unorganized and overwhelmed. Just as your childs teacher does in the classroom, establish and maintain clear routines for study time at home. Once you have established and communicated those rules, hold your child to them. The less time spent on getting settled into homework, organizing or finding ones things, the more time can be spent on learning. Read, read, read. Simply put, a child who is a capable, confident reader will find school to be easier overall. Reading is essential in every subject, and teachers will increasingly expect your child to offer opinions on and insight into the things he or she reads. Make books, literature and reading a frequent family activity. Incorporate reading into your daily lives, and encourage your child to read for fun, both aloud and independently. Work on basic skills. If your child is struggling with basic concepts and this is causing problems in class and during homework, it may be time to investigate. Consider having your child assessed to get more details on what academic skills he or she may be lacking. Encourage thinking. No matter what subject your child studies, critical thinking is an important skill that you can and should hone from an early age. Encourage your child to analyze, question and express opinions on books, articles, news and more. When reading stories, discuss the characters and main messages and have your child share his or her thoughts and ideas. Even with subjects like math and science, teach your child to think through problems and talk about the practical application of math and science concepts. The more your child develops such essential higher order thinking abilities, the more capable your child will be as a student. Foster good study habits. Many children who are otherwise capable students are hampered by disorganization and poor study skills. Teach your child the basics, such as maintaining a neat workspace and backpack, embracing a system for tracking homework and projects (and their due dates), and making all study and homework sessions efficient. Ask for suggestions from your childs teacher as well. Finally, one of the most important things parents can do to benefit their children is talk about school. It sounds simple, and it isbut study after study proves the positive effects of parental involvement on students long-term educational outcomes. A small amount of effort today will help your child build a strong foundation for school and life success.

How to use Direct and Indirect Objects (Video with Exercises)

How to use Direct and Indirect Objects (Video with Exercises) One of the most difficult things to explain to our students is the use of direct and indirect objects in English. In particular, students have difficulty with verbs that require both an object and an indirect object. They are known as ditransitive verbs. The video below gives a very detailed explanation of how to use ditransitive verbs.Exercise: rewrite the following sentences putting the indirect object before the direct object. Here is an example:My sister sent a new scarf to me.My sister sent me a new scarf.1. Paul told a secret to her.2. My mother left some food for me.3. I promised to give my golden ring to her when I die.4. Teauna baked huckleberry muffins for Paul.5. The president awarded the purple heart to the soldiers.6. Ill lend a necklace to you that matches your dress.7. I read a book to my daughter this morning.8. The doctor prescribed penicillin to my grandmother for her infection.9. The waiter served some delicious food to us.10. I ordered a new coat for her because it is almost winter.

9 Ways to Impress Your Boss

9 Ways to Impress Your Boss Image via Isorepublic.com Be reliable: Do what you say you will do Bosses are always glad to have reliable employees, because they know these employees can be trusted. Trustworthy, reliable employees take problems away from their bosses because the boss knows if their employee promises something, it will happen without having to nag them. If you want to impress your boss, you should be a reliable employee. This advice sounds silly because it should go without saying. From childhood, we are taught that if you say you will do something, you should do it, right? If you are hired to perform a certain set of tasks, shouldn’t you perform those tasks? Of course! Unfortunately, some people do not do that. They promise they will do something, but they don’t follow through. Unreliable employees like these will be fired very quickly because they will add to the boss’s problems (since the boss will have to be constantly reminding them to do their work) rather than take away from them. On the other hand, you will impress your boss if you actually follow through on your promises and do what you say you will do. Reliability will help you not only in the workplace, but everywhere else in life. Be punctual: Arrive on time and don’t leave early You may have heard it a million times, but it’s cliché for a reason: punctuality is more important than you might think. It is not only about completing a certain number of hours at work, but it is also a sign of respect. Arriving to work on time shows that you are a diligent worker who is serious about their job. The same goes for leaving your workplace early. You could take the easy way out by arriving late and leaving early, but this will not help your credibility as a worker or your relationship with your boss. Being punctual, and staying until you are needed, is especially critical when you’re trying to build credibility at your new workplace. You don’t want to develop a reputation as the newbie who is always late, do you? An employee who cares enough to show up on time will be considered a reliable employee. If you are reliable, your boss will know they can trust you and they will be impressed. Be proactive: When you finish, ask for more work When you finish your work for the day, don’t just leave your workplace. Instead, you should ask your boss for more work. It’s easy to just leave the building once you are finished for the day, but that’s taking the easy way out and it will not impress your boss; that is what an average employee would do. Instead, as the stellar employee that you are, you should take initiative and ask if your boss or if any of your co-workers need help. This shows that you genuinely care about your job and your responsibilities. Your boss will appreciate that you care enough to ask for more work. That will certainly leave a good impression on them, simply because you decided not to take the easy way out. Infographic by Alyssa Laffitte Take initiative: don’t be lazy This goes with the previous point, but bosses love it when their employees  take initiative. They like these employees because they know they won’t have to be “babying” them, they can dedicate their time to something more important. You should not be waiting around to get instructions from someone. Instead, you need to take charge of your own time. It’s especially important to take initiative when you KNOW what you should be doing next, as your boss will be annoyed if they have to tell you what to do next every single time. Remember, the goal is to give your boss fewer problems, not more. Taking initiative means they don’t have to baby you, and thus, fewer problems for them! Be diligent: don’t cut corners. On the contrary, go above and beyond When you do your work, don’t cut corners. It is easy to simply do the bare minimum of what is expected of you, but this is not the way to be a good employee. On the contrary, go above and beyond. When you are assigned a task, produce the best work you possibly can. For example, if your boss asks you to write a report, it will be easy to just fill it up with “fluff” content to make it longer. You might be tempted to cut corners and write it this way because it is quick and easy. However, this will result in a poorly written report. If you want to impress your boss, you should not cut corners this way. Instead, you should write a high-quality report that includes examples and well-thought-out details. Yes, this report will take more time and energy to write, but it will impress your boss. Be present: stay focused when you are at work In general, we young people have a reputation for not living in the present moment. We tend to spend more time staring at a screen than taking in the world around us. This causes us to not only miss out on what’s happening in the real world, but to do a bad job at work, too. For example, if you are focused on your phone, you are not dedicating yourself to your assignment from work at that very moment. In other words, you are not present at work, because your mind is somewhere else. As a result, you will not complete the task as well as you could have because you are too busy being distracted. (For example, it’s very easy to let a typo or a decimal point error slip when you are not paying close attention to the task at hand.) Spare yourself the trouble and be present while you are work. Put away your phone; resist the urge to scroll through Facebook or to play online games during work time. Plus, your boss will appreciate that you are focused on the task and not on your phone. This will help you produce better quality work, which will impress your boss. Be civil: be a team player around your co-workers Another way to impress your boss is to be civil with your co-workers. The last thing a boss wants to deal with is a conflict between two of their employees. Try not to discuss sensitive or extremely personal topics with your co-workers. Especially do not gossip to (or about) your co-workers. These things could lead to a conflict. Instead, keep things civil, respectful, and professional when you are at work. Of course, sometimes a conflict can still arise. In this case, try to resolve the conflict with the co-worker directly, without involving anyone else. If that doesn’t work, then you can get someone else involved. Additionally, many projects require teamwork. When working with a team, don’t be difficult and remember that decisions must be made in consensus. Be sure to contribute your two cents during group meetings, especially because you have great creative ideas, but make sure to consider others’ opinions, too. They are part of the team, just like you, so they also deserve to be heard. If the majority of the group turns down your idea, be civil about it. Don’t give your boss another thing to worry about. Avoid conflict with your co-workers by keeping a civil and professional relationship with them. Again, your boss will be glad they don’t have to deal with fighting co-workers. Image via Isorepublic.com Be creative: solve problems Creativity is an admirable trait, especially in an employee. When you come up with a brilliant idea, it shows that you are invested in your work and that you actually care. You spent time thinking about the problem and came up with a solution no one has thought of before… that’s amazing! Your creativity and your care will impress your boss. Also, creativity is a big part of problem-solving. Use those creative thinking skills to come up with solutions to problems your company is having. You can start by thinking about some problems your company is facing and the root causes of those problems. Then, try your best to implement those ideas. This is sure to impress your boss. For example, if productivity numbers have been low recently, try to figure out why that is and address the ultimate root cause of the problem. Once you have a solution for the cause to the problem, propose it! Your boss will be thankful to have one less problem to worry about and that you took the initiative to resolve it. Creative problem-solving (and the implementation of these solutions) will take problems away from your boss, and they will be very thankful for that. Take ownership: genuinely care about your work It is easy to slack off and to do a mediocre job when you do not care about your work. Your apathy and lack of effort will be apparent in the quality of work you produce. Your boss will notice and they will not like that. However, if you genuinely care about your work and are invested in it, you will want to do a good job. In fact, it will be hard to do a bad job. You will want to do an excellent job because you actually care about it. Your enthusiasm for your project will come through in the quality of your work. So try to genuinely be invested in your work, as this will help you produce good quality work. And of course, good quality work will impress your boss. Your boss is an important person in your life, so you should work hard to maintain a good relationship with them. In a nutshell, just do not be a lazy employee. On the contrary, show them that you are responsible, hard-working, and can handle your workload. Make your boss’s life easier. Do not be the employee who gives them problems; rather, be the employee who takes problems away from them. You can do this by being punctual, not cutting corners (produce only good quality work), taking initiative of your projects, and being present in your workplace. Don’t be lazy and take the easy way out, rather, be responsible and do your best. If you do these things, you will impress your boss and show them that you are a responsible employee.

Misogyny as the Weapon of Choice Why Elliot Rodger is a Case of Male Entitlement, and His Victims Are the Consequences

Misogyny as the Weapon of Choice Why Elliot Rodger is a Case of Male Entitlement, and His Victims Are the Consequences When it comes to misogyny, the victims are always the ones blamed.Photo Via YouTube If it wasnt already a fact embedded in our deeply sexist and oppressive culture, misogyny kills. On May 23rd, Elliot Rodger murdered six people and injured thirteen in Santa Barbara, first stabbing three of his roommates at his apartment before driving off to commence a shooting spree at the local university. As much as mental illness is being investigated as a factor in this horrific news story, another main factor, one that often goes forgotten and shoved under the proverbial patriarchal rug, was his intense hatred for women. In “Elliot Rodger’s Retribution,” a nearly seven minute long YouTube video he posted before the shooting, he describes his “revenge against humanity” and his years of enduring “an existence of loneliness, rejection and unfulfilled desires” due to his lack of sexual activity from women. Due to this “tortuous” state of affairs and blatant “injustice,” Rodgers states that the entire female gender should suffer. So what do all women inevitably deserve? According to Rodger, “utter annihilation.” When considering this intense hatred for females and the animalistic need for adoration and sex, it is clear that this is a case of misogyny and the Men’s Rights Movement, an anti-woman hate organization founded on the beliefs of anti-feminism, pro-domestic violence, pro-rape, pro-sexual assault, and the undying love for  ad hominem attacks. While it is apparent Rodger is suspected of being mentally disturbed and had been mandated by his own father to attend mental health counseling in the past, how much longer can violent sexism be excused and even, dangerously enough, socially acceptable? To excuse this as a crime due to mental illness and not misogyny further aggravates the underlying issue in this case. This is a man delusioned into embedding himself into the culture of hypermasculinity and victim-blaming; women are regarded as objects to him, and he demanded that these objects be available for use and his use only. This is a case defined by male dominance and female submissiveness, as Rodger states, I’m going to enter the hottest sorority house of UCSB and I will slaughter every single spoilt, stuck-up, blonde s**t that I see inside there, as a blatant indication that women deserve death if they cannot act as human sex toys. The Mens Rights Organization, or MRAs as they are individually called, is a delusional hate organization that encourages these acts of Rodger, and sympathizes with this mentality of misogyny. This is not an isolated incident, this is the reality of female oppression. According to author  Michael D. Kelleher, who writes in this 1997 book Flash Point,  mass killers, such as Rodger, are rarely insane, in either the legal or ethical senses of the term, and they usually dont display debilitating delusions and insidious psychotic fantasies of the paranoid schizophrenic. Instead, killers are usually marked by their personality disorder, often displaying signs of narcissism, grandiosity, resentment, a sense of entitlement, adoration, and violent fantasies.  James L. Knoll IV, the director of forensic psychiatry at the State University of New Yorks Upstate Medical University, calls these killers collectors of injustice who nurture their wounded narcissism. The typical mass shooter intends on nursing his personal tragedies and displaying them to the public, sometimes through video manifestos and other mediums, in order to create a narrative used for a public airing. And what exactly causes these violent massacres justified through the minds of narcissisti c mass killers? The concept of male entitlement. #YesAllWomen comments inspired by Rodgers anti-woman and male privilege rantings.Photo Via Time.com This is the reality of a 16-year old girl being stabbed to death after refusing a prom invitation. This is the reality of a rape list being spread around the Columbia University campus in order to prevent future rapings from occurring and to alert all students of sex offenders and predators. This is the reality of fourteen  female students being shot to death by a murderous anti-feminist after he was denied admission to their school, claiming women were taking positions only men should be allowed to have. While Rodgers mental illness is still being further investigated at this time, it is clear that women exist in a society that hates them and does not allow them the privilege to feel safe due to their biological bodies. The true problem with this behavior is that it is not seen as a problem at all. This is normative, socially acceptable behavior; this is males claiming womens bodies and their lives, this is males blaming women for shooting sprees, this is males living under a patriarchy designed by their own gender, for their gender, and blaming their behavior on rejection by women who, as females, were inevitably rejected from existing in a society that treats them as inflatable sex dolls and not  human beings. This is a case of misogyny in our rape culture, and mental illness can no longer be used as its scapegoat. As the body count rises, so does the need to reevaluate male entitlement and the prominence of anti-woman mentalities in order to medicate these festering open wounds that, consequently,  infect the lives and perceptions of females worldwide. Murderous misogyny is not a symptom of mental illness, it is a symptoms of male entitlement.

Is Concentration Calculation a Proper Science?

Is Concentration Calculation a Proper Science?Concentration calculation can be taken from the power principle of chemical reactions. This is how it works, in a chemical reaction when a substance reacts with another substance it starts to heat up. The reaction will get harder to manage if the temperature of the second substance gets higher than the first one, that's why it is very important to get concentration from first principles.Concentration calculation can be done on any substance which has some energy. However, even if the substance contains some amount of energy, if you don't know how much it has, then the method would be useless. In concentration calculation, the energy of the substance is used as a ratio of the reaction of the substance, then the remaining energy is used as a binding energy.Concentration is the largest part of Chemistry, it also has two parts, or four parts if you consider the power principle. The first part is as a term used for concentration in a mixture, the second part is used for quantifying the result in a proof. The principles of Concentration Calculations are based on the two most important concepts in chemistry, these are expansion and equilibrium. For any substance that has more than one degree of freedom, there is the concept of concentration. Concentration can be calculated by using the power principle of chemistry. The power principle of chemistry states that the concentration of two or more substances is the same as the power of one substance. If a substance has more than one degree of freedom, then the power principle states that the concentration of each of the substances is the same as the corresponding power of one substance. As such, it can be said that a given amount of power of one substance has the same effect in all of the substances. When a substance has more than one degree of freedom, then it will have the tendency to change its concentration. This is the reason why this principle is so useful. However, it should be noted that concentrations do not have any kind of state or physical form, therefore there is no concentration known as a physical fact. All concentration that we observe are just the sum of the separate forces. But since the power principle of chemistry requires that the sum of the separate forces is equal to the power of one substance, this means that the energy of a substance has to be used in every concentration of the substance.

Peer Tutoring Is Best Way to Learn

Peer Tutoring Is Best Way to LearnPeer tutoring is a very useful approach to solve the difficult problems faced by students. It addresses the problem of the lack of basic teaching in the schools. Pupils should be educated in making their work projects perfect. For this, they need some guidance and support. The role of peer tutors in the classroom is very important because they play an important role in improving the functioning of middle school students. In some educational institutions, they provide a practical way to gain basic knowledge about the subject. The teaching is all based on the individual's learning style and their experience and skill.A great advantage that this type of instruction provides is that the student gets encouragement, motivation and also finds satisfaction from understanding the work of his peers. The practical learning is also motivated as the pupil is encouraged to apply the lessons learnt by his peer teachers in the future. When it comes to assessing the tu tors, the tutors' personality, abilities and knowledge are considered. It also helps in identifying any deficiencies and finding out the areas where the tutors need to improve. The assessment procedure includes getting to know the personality of the teacher and observing the manner in which he or she teaches. The verbal feedback as well as physical feedback to help the tutor in achieving a successful outcome in the learning process. Some tutors come into the job with a normal ordinary lifestyle and have to work on a part time basis, so as to make ends meet. Others are employed full time, having to attend to many students. To get some sort of help for their situation, tutors give up their jobs and accept employment as a peer tutor, thereby cutting down their daily expenses.Peer tutoring is available in every college as well as in middle school students. The career development and training conducted by the various institutions teach about the basic principles. To succeed in the employm ent, it is important to be professional and proficient in the pedagogy.
